Religious & Heritage Education
Registration is now open for MCF, Knights of Mary and Arabic classes for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade!
The Saint Sharbel Religious & Heritage Education Program is an effort to continue the formation of our children in the faith and to pass on the Maronite heritage preserved by our ancestors. Religious Education is strongly encouraged and is taught in English. The Arabic Classes Program accepts non-parish members.
MCF (MARONITE CHRISTIAN FAITH) CLASSES and Arabic Classes will be held on Saturdays - Starting October 3, 2025 through April 24, 2026.
1:30 - 3:00 pm - Arabic
3:15 - 4:45 pm - MCF/ First Communion/ Knights of Mary
5 pm - Divine Liturgy
PREPARATION OF CHILDREN FOR FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Parents preparing their children for first communion should adhere to the following rules:
1. All candidates for first communion must be children of registered members of the St. Sharbel Church.
2. All candidates must have completed formation years at St. Sharbel Religious education program (Level 1 and Level 2) and are able to read and write.
3. Parents must attend the required meetings pertaining to first communion preparation.
4. Fill out the online registration form. Please fill out at least one month before classes start.
Your cooperation in preparing the children to receive the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ is imperative.

The Knights of Mary
KOM is for children in Grades 3–6 who have already received their First Holy Communion. Together, they’ll grow in their Catholic faith, celebrate our Maronite heritage, build lasting friendships, and have a blast—with Christ at the center!

Toddler MCF Classes
Activities, Prayer & Music
Objective: To help toddlers discover God's love through play, prayer, and song.
There is NO Charge for this class. However, submission of registration form is still required.
Our classes are held every Second SATURDAY of the month, except for January and February.
AGES: 30 months-4 years
Learn Aramaic
Join Abouna Simon and Michael Souaid for a 10-session beginner Aramaic course, taught live and in person. Participants will learn the alphabet, reading and writing, translation, and basic grammar in a welcoming, step-by-step setting.
